As we traverse the stunning landscapes and cross paths with numerous monasteries, stupas, and religious sites, it is essential to adhere to cultural norms. Trek participants are advised to wear modest and weather-appropriate attire, covering shoulders and knees, especially when entering religious spaces. This cultural sensitivity extends to both trekking and lodging attire.

Sturdy trekking boots are recommended for the challenging terrain, while a pair of lightweight shoes is suitable for teahouses and lodges. A hat or cap provides sun protection, and a warm beanie or headband is essential for colder conditions.

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel by private vehicle
Day 02: Flight to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft) from Kathmandu or Ramechhap and trek to Phakding (2,660m/8,727ft) – 3 hours
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazar (3,440m/11,286ft) – 6 hours
Day 04: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar & Hiking Activity to Syangboche
Day 05: Trek to Deboche (3,830m/12,566ft) via visiting the Tyangboche monastery – 5 hours
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m/14,469ft) – 5 hours
Day 07: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m/16,109ft) – 5 hours

Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and provide a private vehicle transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take the opportunity to rest and acclimate to the new surroundings. Later, we will all meet for the team briefing, female guide introduction, remaining balance settlement checking the packing list, etc.

After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the domestic airport for the flight to Lukla, where the adventure truly begins. The flight offers stunning views of the Himalayas before landing on the legendary Tenzing-Hillary Airport. Upon your arrival at Lukla you will have a short tea break and also meet with the porters. Afterwards, the trek commences towards Phakding, passing through picturesque landscapes and different Sherpa settlements alongside the Dudh Koshi River. The 3/4-hour trek introduces you to the beauty and tranquility of the Everest region.

After morning breakfast, today’s trek takes you through lush forests and charming villages along the Dudh Koshi. Today you will cross five different suspension bridges including the iconic Hillary Bridge and ascend steep trails, the awe-inspiring peaks of Thamserku and Kangtega come into view. Reaching Monjo you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park. After a 6-hour journey, you’ll reach Namche Bazaar, a bustling Sherpa town nestled in the heart of the Himalayas.

To acclimate to the higher altitude, spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar and engaging in a hiking activity to Syangboche. The panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam from this vantage point are truly breathtaking.

and descend down to Phunki Thanga where you will stop for the lunch. From here is 2/3 hours steep uphill climb till Tyangboche. Traverse through rhododendron forests and enjoy glimpses of Everest on the way to Tyangboche Monastery. The spiritual aura of the monastery adds a cultural touch to the 5-hour trek to Deboche, where you’ll be surrounded by the serene Himalayan landscape.

Continue your journey to Dingboche, passing through charming villages like Pangboche and enjoying views of Ama Dablam. You will stop at Somare for the lunch and further continue the trek. From here onwards the tree line ends and the level of oxygen decreases so always stay hydrated and walk slowly. The 5-hour trek brings you to Dingboche, a picturesque settlement surrounded by stone walls to shield against the cold mountain winds.

Take a well-deserved acclimatization day in Dingboche. After breakfast you will hike to the Nangkartshang Peak for acclimatization and stunning mountain views. Return back down at the hotel have lunch, relax and soak in the peaceful ambiance of this Himalayan village.

Today will be one of the short trek as well. You will reach the Thukla after 2/3 hours of walking. There you can have a lunch or have a short tea break. It is up to you. From here is hour straight steep uphill till Thukla Everest memorial park. Pay tribute to the fallen souls of the mountaineers and trek to Lobuche. As you ascend to higher altitudes, the landscapes become more rugged. After a 5-hour of total trek from Dingboche, you’ll reach Lobuche, the gateway to Everest Base Camp.

Today is a pivotal day as you trek to the iconic Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep. The 7-hour journey takes you through the stark beauty of the Khumbu Glacier, culminating in the legendary base camp. First you will reach the hotel at Gorakshep which will take around three hours. Put all your backpack and have a lunch. After that carry the daypack with snacks and water and head towards the Everest Base Camp.

Congratulations for making it to there. Take pictures and enjoy your moment. Return back to the hotel and take rest.

Begin your day with an early morning hike to Kala Patthar for a stunning sunrise view over Everest. It takes roughly 4/5 hours going up and back down. Have a breakfast at Gorakshep and start your trek to Pheriche.

Embark on a 7-hour trek back to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through familiar terrain while reflecting on the achievements and memories of the journey.

Fly back to Ramechhap or Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to your hotel. Take this day to relax, share stories with fellow trekkers, and savor the memories of this empowering journey.

On the final day, our team will assist with your departure, ensuring a smooth transition from the vibrant energy of Nepal back to your home destination. Depart from Tribhuvan International Airport with cherished memories of the “EmpowerHer Trek to Everest Base Camp.”
