What kind of Accommodations are there?

Even though it’s the oldest village in the Annapurna Region, you can find good hotels/tea house to stay. You will get a clean bed and clean food in this area as well as water. Similarly, the prices are different for staying one night in the hotel. Because the hotel’s price is categorized as the services they provide. However, all the hotels are responsible for giving a good bed.

Overview

Located in the Annapurna Region in mid-western Nepal, it has been opened for visitors since 2003. Similarly, the unique lifestyle influenced by Tibetans and the beautiful Kayak Gompas is worth visiting here once in a lifetime. Also, the lifestyle of people here is similar to Tibet and the houses are built by rocks which shows the old tradition and cultures of Bhote (people living there) communities.

Actually, Nar Phu is also known as Narpa, which is two villages of Nar and Phu, which lies in the valley of Nar Khola in the Manang district of Nepal. This village has two varieties of secret language spoken and also known as a Sino-Tibiten (relating to a large language family of eastern Asia). However, Nar Phu valley trek is comparatively a new destination for travelers.

Today you will explore the capital city including pagoda style temples, Heritage enlisted sites, and histories. For best services, you will be provided with a good English-speaking tour guide and he will answer all the questions while exploring. Similarly, today at the dinner you will have a taste of the local foods (Nepali food) arranged by our team.

After packing all the things and full information on the trip, today we will set off to the Koto through the vehicle. After crossing the Besisahar the road can be little off but you will soon witness the god gifted natures when driving to Koto. We will pass through amazing Gorges, waterfalls, and mountains through the old Annapurna Circuit trek route. Koto will be the first night on mountain.

Today your journey will start because you will accomplish all the fun through trekking. We will start our trekking early in the morning after breakfast. After crossing the river, we will enter the valley of Nar Phu then after passing some forests, canyon, waterfalls in the way we will have to climb a steep hill. At the top of the hill, you will have an amazing sight-seen of beautiful snow peaks. Soon, we will reach Meta where we will take a night stay. Here you will get your dinner.

After having a wonderful stay in Meta, we will soon set off to Phu Village to Nar Phedi which will take up to 6-7 hours to reach. During the trek to Phu, we will come across along the ridge with the magnificent view of the Nar Phedi monasteries. Walking forward about a one and half hour finally we will reach the entrance pillar called “Monolith” and after crossing the monolith we will climb steep way up to the Phu.
From this place, you will see the old Tibetan style fortress called “Dzong” as well as three villages which have different cultures and customs. There are two more ruined forts near Dzong situated at the top of flatlands. After having a short rest there exploring and taking some pictures, we will head to the Tashi Lhakhang Gompa to pay respects to Lama Karma Sonam Rimpoche who came to here with the Dalai Lama in 1959.

Today we will have an acclimatization day at Phu as well as exploration here. In this village, you will witness the old tradition of weaving. The villagers will be working with old tradition like pounding the mustard seed to extract oil, weaving the wool and many more. In this day if you want to test your skill then you can go hiking to Himlung Himal Base Camp-4800m

Heading back to the Meta we will follow another route to the Nar Phedi where the old “Dzong” is situated as well as the Nar Phedi monastery. This place is very clean and very good for overnight stay. After exploring in Nar Phedi, we will rest today and plan ahead.

Finally, today you will trek to your second destination. The route to Nar village is from the Nar Phedi where we will climb up towards the hill. It is easy to find the way to the Nar village because you can see the beautiful chortens in your way. The trek will be short so we will have lunch in the Nar village.
This village is very unique and beautiful and different from Phu village. This village has its own secret language to communicate. We will have explored the villages and take a rest in comfortable Lodge here.

The route is very long so we will set off before sunrise so that we will reach in time. The route to Ngawal is via Kang La Pass which is famous for its wildflowers & pristine alpine pastures. This route also leads to the popular Annapurna Circuit where we can enjoy the astounding view of Annapurna II, Gangapurna and Tilicho Peak. Up to now, the path will be little difficult but after crossing the Kang la Pass the route will be easy dut to the slope.
After reaching the Ngawal you will feel the differences between the Nar Phu village and here. But the lodges are much more comfortable here and you can get signal for the phone as well as wifi here.

We will set off early today also because it will be too damn hot in the day and to reach Besisahar ASAP. You can see the vast Landscapes and a beautiful lake outside Pisang. There we will have a short break and a short rest then we will head back to Kathmandu which will take fewer hours.

After a 5-6-hour drive, we will reach to Kathmandu and you will be taken to your hotel for the rest. We will bring you to a reputable restaurant for a farewell dinner. Of course, would like to hear your experience with us even if it’s negative. I am Vegan, what extra things should I pack for the trek?


If you are a vegan, it is strongly recommended to bring additional protein bars or snacks for the trek. The cost of snacks in the trekking trail will be expensive, so prepare accordingly.

Is there any discount?

Yes, there are discounts but only for families or groups. You will get more than 15% discount according to the number of groups.

Where will i live when coming Nepal?

You will be transferred to the hotel in the Thamel area for one night stay. Whereas, for the accommodation during the trek, you will stay at different lodges/Hotels/Tea House.

Similarly, you will get a good bed for sleeping as well as the delicious food in this trek.

Can I customize this trek?
