The tour starts from the capital city of Nepal; Kathmandu. Today will be your arrival at the International Airport of Kathmandu where our staff member will be there to pick you up. After a short ride, you will then drop at the star hotel inside the Thamel area, Kathmandu. In the evening time, we will have a short briefing about your trip, requirements, guides, etc.

After the delicious breakfast, our tour guide will be there to accompany you today for the Kathmandu heritage tour. Inside Kathmandu, there are seven cultural Heritage sites i.e Monkey Temple (Swaymbhunath), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan Temple.

We will bring you to the four different cultural heritage site in the first day, Monkey temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple and Budhha Stupa. Every site has its historical and religious significant. Pashupatinath temple is belongs to lord Shiva. But open cremation on the bank of the river side will be interesting for you. You will be given each and every piece of information about the heritage sites.

Bhaktapur-Durbar-SquareThe day will start after your breakfast. Second day of Kathmandu heritage tour will be Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square. Both sites have their own historical importance. Our tour guide will describe regarding both heritage city. Bhaktapur is famous for its pottery and Patan is famous for its copper work.

After exploring Kathmandu heritage site today you have about three hours drive to Trisuli river. This river is on the way to go to Pokhara and Chitwan too. Trisuli river is very popular for rafting. It is famous as white water rafting. You can have about three hour rafting and stay at resort. (There are three different category of room, one is tent room, one is cottage room and one is deluxe. You may choose any of them.)

After enjoying at Trisuli River side resort, today you will drive to Chitwan National park. It is approximately three hours drive to Chitwan. In the evening you will have riverside jungle walk.

You will have full day activities. They will take you to the Rapti river after breakfast for canon boat riding. Rapti river is famous for its crocodile. After boat riding you will go for elephant breeding center and jungle walk too. You will have some break after lunch. They will bring you to the elephant back riding safari. It will be more than an hour. Normally, you will have one-horned rhino attraction on this elephant back safari. Then you will go to Tharu village tour on the way back to the hotel. And will go to see Tharu culture program.

After having breakfast you will go for jeep driving for a day. They will drive into national park where you can have many wild lives seen. Probably, you can see Bengal tiger too. It is about 6 hours driving inside dense forest area.

After a beautiful time in Chitwan, you will drive to Lumbini for 3 to 4 hours. Lumbini is Buddha birthplace. In the afternoon you will have a visit to many different monastery. Then visit to Buddha Maya garden too. There are many monastery like German monastery, French monastery, Japanese monastery, Chinese Monastery, Korean monastery, Manmar monastery, Thai monastery etc. You may go to visit Tilaurakot in the afternoon and visit those monastery and Buddha Maya garden in second day.

Lumbini
Explore Lumbini

Tilaurakot is considered as a capital city of Buddha time. Father of Buddha, Suddodhan was a king and Tilaurakot was capital city of Kapilvastu. Despite it is not in existence now, they have found it underneath the ground this city. The buried city is still under investigation. You will go back to the hotel after visiting Tilaurakot for an overnight stay.

After a wonderful time in Lumbini, you will have a drive to Pokhara. It is about 130 km to Pokhara from Lumbini. The road journey is goes through beautiful mountain and valleys. It takes about 5 hour drive to Pokhara.

sightseeing-pokhara You will be ready for sun rising view from Sarangkot early in the morning. It takes approximately half an hour drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot. You can have beautiful mountain views including 8,000m mountains, mount Dhaulagiri 8,167m, Mt. Manaslu 8,163m and Annapurna I 8,091m. Of course, other 7,000m and 6,000m mountain too. After sun rising view, you will go for breakfast. You will have Bindhyabasini temple visit, Seti gorge view, David falls, Bindhyabasini Temple, Bad cave in the afternoon.

After having a breakfast you will go for world peace pagoda. This is located on the top of mountain from where you can have beautiful Pokhara city view. It is only half an hour drive from your hotel. And of course, this place offers amazing view of Annapurna Himalaya region and Dhaulagiri Himalaya region. After world peace pagoda you will go to see David Falls on the way back which offers beauty of water falls into the deep gorge. You can go Gupteswar cave as well from where you can see this David Falls very clear. After lunch, you can go to international mountain museum where you can witness Nepal mountain ethnic people.

It is about 85 km from Bandipur to Salang village. It is almost on the way to Kathmandu. You will drive to Baireni with your same vehicle, from this place to Salang village 16 km will be four wheel drive and overnight stay at local family.

All places you visited Kathmandu heritage site, Chitawan National park, Lumbini, Pokhara and Bandipur are touristic places. Salang is not touristic place. This is real Nepal living area. Of course, you will find it very different this place than other. Magar people have majority in this place but there are many other tribe as well. In Hindu society, there is caste system and unfortunately, there is cast discrimination. You will go to see blacksmith work place. They are called KAMI. Kami is considered as lowest caste in Hindu society and Brahmin is considered as high cast people. Magar are middle. Very sadly, there is still untouchable practice, means lower caste people are not allowed to touch even water, food. If they touched Brahmin’s water, food those high caste people do not eat and drink this touched. Those Kami people have Aaraan. Aaraan is working place of blacksmith. And there is Gandharva people as well. Gandharva tribe is also called lower caste people. They have very few population in Nepal. They are really minority. Singing and playing Sarangi (The fiddle, types of violin) is their ancestral profession. They used to go village to village, door to door for singing. And still some Gandharva people go for this. They make Sarangi themselves. You may go their place and see how they make Sarangi and play it. Of course, you will see culture of Magar people. They make Raksi. Raksi is popular alcoholic drink in Nepal. Magar people are mostly involved in farming

After staying two night here today you will go to Kathmandu. You will have jeep driving to Baireni 16 km and there will be other private vehicle from Baireni to Kathmandu. It is about 60 km to Kathmandu.
