All Information regarding travel & trekking due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nepal

-From 26th March 2020 till the lockdown period, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality announced to provide free lodging & fooding to all stranded tourists in Lukla.

-From 27th March 2020, Nepal Tourism Board has helped the stranded tourists in Pokhara to fly back to Kathmandu.

-On 28th March 2020, there were 5 flights (each with a seating capacity of 14 pax) to rescue the stranded tourists in Lukla (the airfare was charged).

-The government of Nepal has extended the lockdown period from 29th March 2020 until 7th April 2020 as well as all the international flights until 15th April 2020.
