Pack your bag and prepare for the most-awaited journey to Everest Base Camp with the only cost of USD 1475. The EBC trek kicks off from Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla with a most beautiful scenic flight above the peaks and mountains swimming in clouds. As soon as you enter the valley of mountains, you will be welcomed by the mighty peak the “Mt. Everest”. You may not see it from Lukla but while heading to Namche Bazar on your 4th day, you will see a glimpse of Mt. Everest “The World’s Highest Mountain” which existed on the globe.
In my view, Everest Base Camp Trek is not only about adventure or challenges, rather it is about blending yourself with nature and people taking steps forward from a box-size-life. The ethnic group “Sherpa”, the footsteps left by Tenzing Sherpa & Sir Edmund Hillary, the ups & downs, the sight of endangered animals, melting glacier lakes, Tibetan culture are enough reasons to take the Everest Base Camp Trek.
I accept that you can’t have an Mt. Everest view from Base Camp but a short hike to Kalapathar will sure change your mind. Giving a perfect 10/10 scenery of astounding mountains including Mt. Everest is the gift that Kalapathar gives to you. Watch our Pristine Nepal Trek founder story to reach Everest Base Camp.

Only after reaching Jorsalle which is the final village before reaching the Namche Bazar., you will have your lunch.
The trail is steep uphill till after you cross the Hillary Bridge. And the good news is that you will have your first glimpse of Mount Everest from viewpoint before reaching Namche Bazar.
Acclimatization is very important not only for adjusting your body to altitude but also to explore and feel the Nature around you.
For optional, you can go hiking to the World’s highest hotel or to the Namche Bazar market. Furthermore, if possible, you can go to the Sherpa museum which is the oldest museum preserving the Sherpa culture and tradition.

Tyangboche is the home of Monks treasuring the Tibetan cultures and the oldest Monastery. The acclimatization day in Namche Bazar will be a huge help to trek to Tyangboche. Still, walk slowly and drink lots of water when trekking.
Similarly, when trekking to Tyangboche/Tengboche, you will encounter lots of prayer flags which also make the places unique.
Now, the trek will start to get more exciting than before because you will be very close to the high Snowcapped Mountains. Similarly, from Tengboche to Deboche/Dingboche, you will walk through the lush forests of Rhododendron.
Today’s trek will be steep upward until Pangboche also known as Sherpa village. There, you will have your lunch at Somare which is close to Dingboche.
Another interesting fact about Dingboche is that you can witness Mount Everest hidden between the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge as well as Ama Dablam.
Today will be your 2nd acclimatization day which is most important. All your tiredness and pains will be healed today after a long day’s rest. Or, you can either climb to Nangkartshang Peak or explore Dingboche. For your information, Nangkartshang Peak lies at 5,053m altitude and terribly steep upward to climb which is very hard but totally worth it.

After your 2nd acclimatization day in Dingboche, you will be almost ready for continuing your Everest Base Camp trek. However, trekking to Lobuche is not so hard and almost easy as pie if you had climbed to Nangkartshang peak.
Similarly, it’s a minimum 6 hours walk from Dingboche to Lobuche and you’ll have your lunch break at Thukla/Dukla only. It may be a long path but walking slowly is the only key to success.
Finally, you will achieve your goal today after the long restless sleep, pain, and sacrifices. However, these kinds of things are the reason that makes adventure memorable.
The Journey to EBC starts after breakfast in Lobuche. After that, we will head to Gorakshep which will only take 3 hours minimum. After leaving your bags and things in Gorakshep, it is only 2 hours trek to reach Everest Base Camp.
It may sound sad that you will not see Mount Everest from Base Camp however, the good news is “You can have 360 views from Kalapathar. Arrange the day to visit Kalapathar so you won’t miss that opportunity.
It’s time to head back to where you started your journey. Today is the day you will trek right down to Pheriche from EBC. From Gorakshep, it’s all downhill to Pheriche which will be very easy.
While trekking, if you feel tired then you can have an alternative place for an overnight stay. However, if you can walk more then we will head down to Pheriche which will take up to 6 hours.
On your 2nd day from EBC, you will now trek down to Namche Bazar. Shocking right? Well, it’s true but sad because you will soon leave the Everest Region. So, don’t forget to buy souvenirs in Namche Bazar to keep a memmory.
