Spring season is considered the ideal season for the Annapurna Base Camp trek due to its combination of favorable weather, natural beauty, and clear visibility. Spring season which starts in March and lasts till April.

Just after the monsoon season, the skies clear up, leaving fresh and clear air. The weather is much more stable with mild temperatures during the day and cool nights.

Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp during Monsoon is possible but comes with some challenges. Monsoon starts from June to early September in Nepal. This time of the year offers green landscapes and fewer crowds but comes with major challenges like heavy rainfall, slipper trials, leeches, and limited mountain views due to clouds.

Possible risks of landslides can create travel disruptions for the trekking. With proper rain gear, sturdy footwear, and a flexible schedule, it’s possible to enjoy the trek, though it may not be ideal for those seeking clear views of the Annapurna range.

Trekking route starting from Jhinu Dada saves time and on the other hand, it does not compromise in terms of mountain view. Where trekking route from Ghorepani takes us closer to the lifestyle of the ethnic group living in the Annapurna region that is Gurung, teaching about their culture, food, tradition, and so on.
