About Namche Bazar

Namche Bazar is the gateway to Mt Everest where lies a southern ridge and Everest Base Camp and you can do a Luxury trek to Namche Bazar. Similarly, it is the predominant of Sherpas and the capital town where most of them are involved in the tourism business. So, lots of lodging and stores catering provides according to the needs of visitors, as well as internet cafes, German bakeries and restaurants are also available.

Namche Bazar is located at approximately 3,440m (11,286ft) which is a low point of the Khumbu region of Nepal. Likewise, it is situated on crescent-shaped mountain slopes that give a stunning view of the mountains across the valley. It is also one of the famous towns in the Khumbu region and also a starting point of Everest Base Camp and other trekking areas.

It is the busiest trekkers hub in the Everest region and there are also banking and health facilities. Siddhartha Bank Limited and Kumari Bank Limited provide an ATM facility here. Visitors can get good health care at local hospitals. The world’s highest dental clinic “Namche Dental” opened by American Himalayan Foundation (AFH) is also available there.

Regarding transportation service, there is the Syangboche Airport 3,780m elevation. In present, it is not used for passenger flights. Lukla Airport is the nearest open airport from Namche Bazar.

Day 1
Arrival in the Kathmandu

Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

After your breakfast, your tour guide will come to pick you up. You will visit 5 heritage sites enlisted in UNESCO world heritage sites: Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple & Patan Durbar Square. These sites are rich in beautiful arts & architecture & offers their own uniqueness & aura.

Day 3
Kathmandu to Lukla then trek to Phakding

After having breakfast in the hotel, we will now head to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport for the flight to Lukla. You may know that Lukla is the world’s dangerous airport due to its location, with an altitude of 2,800 m. Lukla airport is the starting point of the Everest Base Camp. Upon arrival at Lukla after a 40 min scenic flight, we will meet our other crew and members in the airport. Similarly, after the arrival, we will start our first trek to Phakding through prosperous Lukla village.

Inclusion: One-night stay in Phakding including meals and breakfast in Luxury Hotel.

Day 4
Trek to Namche Bazar from Phakding

Today we will trek to our next destination which is Namche Bazar. The route to Namche Bazar includes beautiful pine forests following the Dudh Koshi river with many suspension bridges. In the route we can witness the gorgeous Mt Thamserku and some astounding landscapes. Passing through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park we will then have to climb a steep hill for about 2 hours. There we will have our first scenic view of Mt Everest. Following the route, we will have to again hike for a couple of hours to reach Namche Bazar. This place will provide you excellent lodges, foods, and bed.

Inclusion: Traditional food; Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the luxury hotel.

Day 5
Exploration Day at Namche Bazar.

This season provides you best weather there and that’s why we will hike to Thame if you like or explore the Namche Bazar. This place is well developed and provides internet cafes and restaurants, government office, ATM and a cheap market from Friday evening to Saturday.

Besides that, we can take a stroll to the Sherpa museum where we will learn the culture of Sherpa’s, Sagarmatha National Park & Everest region of Nepal. This all activities will help to enchant a new experience in your life.

Inclusion: Traditional Sherpa food/Nepali Khana, breakfast, lunch & dinner at Luxury Hotel

Day 6
Namche bazar to Lukla

After having a breakfast we will now head back to Lukla. The route will be now easy to walk and that’s why we will reach to Lukla in the same day. Again, after reaching Lukla we will rest in Lukla.

Inclusion: Lunch-Dinner & breakfast at luxury hotel.

Day 7
Lukla to Kathmandu then transfer to your hotel

After a beautiful experience in this trip we will now leave the Lukla. You will have a flight to the Kathmandu today which will take 40 min with a scenic view of mountains including Mt. Everest. After reaching the Kathmandu you will be drop to your location.
