With perfect hospitality and caring staff, Hotel Thamel Park is known for its’s best services. In our opinion, it’s the best place to spend a day.
The guide will come to pick you up & take you to Ramechhap to take the Lukla Flight the next day. To reach Ramechhap it will take you up to 4 hours.
(Remember, we can shorten this day to save your 1-day fee by directly taking the flight in same day)
We choose Ramechhap because it will be less crowded and fast. And from Ramachhap Airport, you can have an easily accessible flight to Lukla.
Today you will fly to Lukla with your guide on a 30mins scenic flight from Ramechhap. Upon reaching Lukla, you will have a delicious breakfast there and meet your porter too.
After breakfast, you will pass through some beautiful Sherpa villages Chaurikharka, Thadokoshi, Ghat before Phakding.
Phakding is a beautiful Sherpa village alongside the Dudhkoshi River. It has some beautiful guest houses, tea houses, and hotels. They offer a pleasant stay within this Everest region.
Today you will enter the Sagarmatha National Park region, which is also one of the World Heritage sites. Similarly, you have to cross 5 different suspension bridges today including the very popular Hillary Bridge before reaching Namche Bazar.
You will have your lunch at Jorsalle which is the final village before reaching the Namche Bazar.
It will only take a minimum of 6 hours to reach Namche Bazar.
Namche Bazar is well known Sherpa village as an entry point of the Everest region.
Today is the acclimatization day in Namche Bazar. This day is very important because an acclimatization day means adjusting your body to the surroundings to avoid AMS.
On this day, you can either visit the biggest trading hub or take a stroll to the Sherpa museum or you can hike to Everest view hotel where you can enjoy tea or coffee facing Mount Everest.
Additionally, Namche Bazar is a developed area with internet cafes, restaurants, government offices, ATM,s, and a cheap market place that runs from Friday evening to Saturday.
(It’s the best place to buy any souvenir for memories)
After an acclimatization day in Namche Bazar, you will hike slowly to Deboche passing Tangboche village where you will catch the sight of the oldest monastery. The trail to Deboche is considered to be the best part of the entire EBC trek. On the way, you will have an awesome scenic view of Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Lhotse along with the beautiful rhododendron woodlands.
You will have lunch at Phunki Thanga and from there you will hike straight uphill till you reach Tangboche. Just 25mins walk from Tengboche and stop at Deboche for an overnight stay.
Today you will start your trek as soon as you have your breakfast. Today’s trek will be a steep upward to Pangboche which is also a Sherpa village. You will have your lunch at Somare which is near Dingboche.
Similarly, from Deboche to Dingboche, it’s just 6 hours walk with extraordinary landscape views. From here also, you will witness Mount Everest hidden between the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge as well as Ama Dablam.
Today will be another rest day/acclimatization day at 4,450m in Dingboche which is very important. You can either climb to Nangkartshang Peak or explore Dingboche today.
Nangkartshang Peak can be a little challenging because it is terribly steep upward to climb but it’s totally worth it.
Today’s acclimatization day will help you to tackle altitude sickness as well as it will help you to boost your energy. Success to climb Nangkartshang Peak is the same as reaching the Mount Everest Base Camp.
Trekking to Lobuche will be as easy as pie if you have climbed the Nangkartshang Peak during acclimatization day.
Similarly, today will be a long walk from Dingboche to Lobuche which will take up to 6 hours. That is why we will walk early in the morning after a delicious breakfast. You’ll have a lunch break at Thukla/Dukla at 4,630m altitude.
Finally, it’s the big day of this trek. After a delicious breakfast in Lobuche, we will head to Gorakshep which will take 3 hours minimum to reach. And from there, it will only take 2 hours to reach Everest Base Camp.
Similarly, it will take up to 7 hours to do the Everest Base Camp round trip. However, you will not see Mt. Everest from Everest Base Camp. However, from Kalapathar you can see the Mount Everest Base Camp for which you will hike there the next day.
After a life-worth experience at Mt. Everest base camp, it’s time to trek back to Lukla. But before heading down we will hike to Kalapatthar, the highest viewpoint in the world. Kalapathar presents a panoramic view of the entire Mount Everest massif.
From there, you will head downhill all the way to Pheriche 4,200m. If you can walk further then you can head down to Pangboche.
You will be amazed by how easy it will be to head back to Namche Bazar. You will be full of energy again because you will have no problem breathing as you ascend down to 3,440m.
Today will be the last day in the Everest region after accomplishing the EBC trek. We will head back down to Lukla with sweet memories & selfies. You will have your lunch at Phakding & overnight stay in Lukla.
