Which are the best seasons for Rafting in Trishuli?

Rafting river flows even in the winter season, but due to extreme cold, it is very hard. During Nepal monsoon season (June-September) the water level rises and carries more force and speed in the waves, that’s why people with rafting experience can try in this season. March-June and October to December is the best period of rafting for all people because the climate will be warm and the river will have gentle waves too.

Do the insurance companies give the insured amount in case of death?

If you read the policy carefully such activities in which you voluntarily expose yourself to such dangerous situations are explicitly excluded. Hence insurance companies would not pay your beneficiaries in case you die while rafting.

But if you want a life insurance cover while rafting, you can buy it from companies which provide such special adventure activities insurance cover(You can ask the company organizing such events for more information on this. Sometimes they also provide a cover). These policies have a premium which is much higher than your normal term life insurance policy and rightly so as the probability of death is also high. Such policies usually give cover only for that particular adventure.

Is it safe for me?

Well, the health condition is the main thing you should consider. But its 90% safe to do rafting but if you have any health issue like a heart problem or any please consult to the guide there.
