Where is Namche Bazar located?
Namche Bazar is located at approximately 3,440m (11,286ft) which is a low point of the Khumbu region of Nepal. It is situated on crescent-shaped mountains slopes that give a stunning view of the mountains across the valley. Likewise, it is the famous town of Khumbu region and also a starting point of Everest Base Camp and other trekking areas.

It is also known as mountain town as it is the gateway to Mt Everest where lies a southern ridge and Everest Base Camp. It is the predominant of Sherpas as well as the capital town, and most of them are involved in the tourism business. Season/Weather in Namche Bazar
This place is cold as it lies in the altitude of 3,440m. During the winter season (Dec-Feb), the temperature of the day is normally 5 to 8 degree Celsius whereas the night temperature falls between 6 to 8 degree Celsius.
Spring (Mar-May)season is a beautiful time to visit Namche Bazar when different types of rhododendron and wildflowers bloom incredibly covering the beautiful forest. While in March, nights will be so cold with a chance of dropping temperature down below 0 degrees.
Similarly, during Summer season Namche Bazar is warm. The day temperature rises to 16 degrees and it falls to 8 degrees Celsius during the night. However, the views of the mountain range cannot be seen properly due to the mists.
Throughout the Autumn season (Sep-Nov) climate is neither too cold nor too hot. Days are clear allowing the view of mesmerizing mountains. The average temperature will be around 5 degrees.
Likewise, there is the wildlife crime control bureau which is responsible for punishing the poachers. It is the busiest trekkers hub in Everest region. There are also banking and health facilities. Siddhartha Bank Limited, Kumari Bank Limited provides ATM facility here. Visitors can get good health care at local hospitals. The world’s highest dental clinic “Namche Dental” opened by American Himalayan Foundation (AFH) is available there.
About transportation service, there is the Syangboche Airport 3,780m elevation. In present, it is not used for passenger flights. Lukla Airport is the nearest open airport from Namche Bazar.
